This is the final effect of my designed project. As you can see there is two ways in which you can place the object and the effect would vary.

light project

This is a picture of the base and the bamboo stick together. You can't really see the effect in this picture but the effect was the different layers on the bamboo stick.
this is a picture of the first model I made. This was the base of the tube with the bamboo stick.
this is a picture of my final model before taking it to the dark.

i think this poicture is good because is very well made it shows the movement of the person clearly.

In class we were asked to draw a group of people in 5 minutes and this is what I drew. I drew the contour of the people and different shapes to form the people.

My pictures.
This picture was draw by Andrada Gilbert. In this picture we can see how she zooms in so we can be able to see the stick clearly. I like how my eyes go directly to the circle and I am able to see a very detailed stick. I believe this is one of the techniques people can us to express their ideas and feelings.

This picture was draw by Amber Wineman. The picture is of her wood project. In it we can see the organization and how she really took her time to show the thickness of the wood pieces. One of the details that I saw in this picture is the four squares inside the middle square i think that adds to her project.

Light Artists

Cenci Goepel and Jens Warnecke

  pictures from lightmark.de

Light is anything that is bright and makes anything come up to life. Light is also something that you are not able to touch but are able to feel and see.

What makes Cenci and Jens work wonderful is this sense of movement in every picture. Not only is their a movement their is also a symbol of hope in every picture because everything in the picture is almost black, but what brings the picture to life is the light.

In the other hand Tadao Ando uses a different light source to point his meaning in every picture. They are not as powerful as Cenci's and Jens. For me light is more powerful in the dark rather than in the day.

Leaves

08/25/10
I drew this picture in the studio. It took approximately 30 minutes. I consider this picture my most successful because the details and the shadows are well drawn. I also used four different techniques for each picture.
